"Tonight, we are young" speaks to me because it shows how a person has the energy to do anything that they want if they put their minds to it. I disagree that this song was listed as a top 50 song of the year. This song has no melody or rythm to it and it gets really annoying when they say the same lines over and over again.

While I can't relate to this song, the message here makes what is going on clear. These people are at a bar getting instant gratification by getting drunk or getting high. They're ignoring problems at hand and are using the excuse that they're young to continue doing these things. I don't mind that this was in the top 50 songs of the year. I'm sure it's better than most of the top 40 music out there.

I feel like that is a good saying because some people cant let go and have fun because they feel like they are to old to do something so just have fun "we only live once"
