Read the brief article below about "occupied time." List three interesting things that you read. Would the bubble wrap popping work to decrease your stress?

The first interesting thing I read is that an airport made baggage claim a longer walk for people. The reason why they did this is it will help people not be as impatient about finding their luggage. The second interesting thing I read is that bus stops in Italy allowed people to pop bubble wraps while waiting for their bus. People will not be as stressed out if they are popping bubbles. The third interesting thing I read is that people like to pop bubbles because of the sound it makes.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was interesting that people think that unoccupied waiting takes longer than when they're occupied. I guess time does fly when your mind is focused on something else. Another thing was that an airport decided to increase the distance between where people's flights ended and the luggage area. The walking distance gave travelers the feeling that they were being productive. In reality, the waiting time for getting luggage is the same exact time occupied and unoccupied. I like the idea of popping bubble wrap to reduce stress.
ReplyDeletethat people was getting tired of siting at the bus then when they see the bubble wrap they forget all about they was waiting on the bus. if some is going through something then bubble wrap an it will take your mind off of what ever it is
