10/8/12 Speeches
How are you feeling about your midterm speech that is 3-5 minutes long? Do a bit of research and share two techniques that you think would be helpful to your peers for staying relaxed when public speaking. Speeches begin on Monday next week!
My advice that I can give is to keep your outline in mind. It will help you remember the main points, so you won't beat around the bush or stumble on words. Another technique is to practice the speech in front of the mirror to see any mistakes you might make, and then correct them.
I feel that I need to be confident when I speak. The best techniques to be relaxed during a speech can be practicing the speech over and over again and also edit the speech if it is to short or long.
