In my opinion, I believe that physical punishment as a way of discipline is inappropriate for high school students. Teenagers won't gain anything from it, since it's usually a fear tactic. The girl and her mother did consent to that form of punishment which is their choice. I just don't think it should be an option for schools in the first place. The school should have stuck to their policy and used a female teacher instead of a male one.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the whole thing is wrong we are not back in the day teachers should or any faculty member should not be able to put their hands on you in for whateverthe case may be and the parent should not even approve of that
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, I do not believe that schools should ask permission from a parent if it is alright to physically punish a child. I consider than child abuse and only parents should make a choice if they want to punish a child (not physically) at home, not at school. I believe that parents should be more strict to there children at home.
ReplyDeletei feel as though the law of teachers putting ther hands on students was changed for a reason and no teacher should put ther hands on a student and the disciple they use now is far and good enough
ReplyDeletethis is really crazy. why would a mother want some starnger to beat her child. this is not the 1800's any more where that is unaccecpable
